I have been posting all of the system plays with some success but i doubt it is really helping anyone since there are so many plays and i wouldn't expect anyone to blindly play them all. I will begin posting just one system play a day with a bit of an explanation and maybe an honorable mention or two. I hope this will be a more helpful method.
I don't know about the rest of you, but it sure seems like in baseball that when you lose a play one day if you would have just came back on the same play the very next day reguardless of pitching matchup or other circumstances that you would get your money back. Especially with totals.
Seattle -1.5 runs - 121
The Mariners come into this game losers of three of their last four. They look a little out of sync right now without Olerud however he should be back for this one. This play isn't so much about the Mariners and Jamie Moyer as it is about going against Texas and John Thomson. Thomson has been miserable at home to the tune of 63 hits in 42.1 innings. His ERA at home is 7.23 with a whip of 1.70. Opponents are hitting a whopping .348 against him. The best news however is that he went 7 innings and threw 98 pitches against Anaheim 5 days ago in a rather decent outing for him. Mediocre pitchers tend to fall apart after a good outing when they have been stretched. Thomson has been absolutely hammered after going 7 or more innings the previous game giving up 33 runs in the 21.1 innings that he has pitched. Since he only averages about four innings pitched in this situation we will get to see plenty of the major's worst bullpen.
Seattle has scored 3 runs or less in all three of thier losses in July but 2 of those three were against Barry Zito and Tim Hudson. I think it will be a little different tonight.
Honorable Mention:
Florida +152
Milwaukee -105
Good Luck!
